A DJ's Prayer

Heavenly Father;

Who gave His only Son so that I may live;

Hear my prayer.

The Ears I Hear with; the soul I spin with; the talents I learned

Are all gifts from You and I am blessed;

May I use these gifts wisely and humbly.

I praise those from whom I have learned my trade

I give thanks for the Promoter and owners who brought me here

May my sounds please them.

Grant me O Lord, the perception to know them for whom I am about to play;

Let me hear and feel the needs of their souls without a word being spoken.

May my sounds be pleasing to them.

May I choose the music wisely so that all who hear it shall dance;

May all who hear me rejoice and remember this time and this place.

Hear my prayer.
